Q: Why is it important to learn what the Bible says?

A: The Bible is full of truth. In addition, You can spend your whole life studying it and it still will be fresh and wonderful. It is the most important book in the whole world. In the Bible God tells us what He is like. He tells us what He wants us to do. He shows us the way to eternal life. God tells us everything we need to know to please Him.

Q: What is the Bible filled with?

A: The Bible is filled with truth.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by God and is useful for teaching and for showing people what is wrong in their lives It is useful for correcting faults and teaching how to live right. Using the Scriptures the person who serves God will be ready and will have everything he needs to do every good work.

Story of Ruth- Ruth and Naomi Ruth 1

· Ruth and Naomi were widows.

· That means their husbands had died.

· Ruth had been married to Naomi son.

· One day Naomi decided to go back to the land from which her family had come.

· Ruth decided to go with her.

· Naomi thought Ruth might miss her family and friends.

· She told Ruth not to come with her.

· But Ruth said, Don't ask me to leave you.

· And so they went together.

· Ruth didn't know where she was going and she didn't know the big surprise waiting for her.

· Try to guess what it was.

Yesterday I learned from tenth church morning service Isaiah 54 is talking about Jesus suffered on the cross. Isaiah 54:1-3 The Lord says, Sing Jerusalem you are like a woman who never gave birth to children start singing and shout for joy. You never felt the pain of giving birth but you will have more children than the woman who has a husband. Make your tent bigger stretch it out and make it wider. Do not hold back. Make the ropes longer make stakes stronger. Do this because you will begin growing very much. Your children will take over other nations. And they will again live in cities that once were destroyed.

Matthew 21:22 If you believe you will get anything you ask for in prayer.

Ruth Gathers Grain Ruth 2

· Ruth and Naomi were very poor.

· They didn't have enough to eat.

· Naomi was too old to work, so Ruth went out to a rich man's field to gather leftover grain for food.

· The rich man saw her.

· She was a beautiful young woman.

· ''Stay here and work in my field'' He told her.

· Ruth was taking care of Naomi and God was taking care of them both.

· However, God wasn't finished with His surprise you.

The Bible as a whole:

· The Old Testament have thirty-nine books.

· The New Testament have twenty-seven books.

· Christ's Saving work promised and Foreshadowed.

· Christ's Life and Saving Work Accomplished.

· Hebrews 1:1 Long ago spoke many times in many ways our ancestors through to prophets.

· Hebrews 1:2 Now in these final days he has spoken to us through his Son.

· Genesis 1-2 is about God's perfect creation.

· Four main of events are creation, fall, flood, and tower of babel.

· Four main of characters are Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.

· God blesses his creation.

· God unfolds a Plan to bless his covenant people in all Nations.

YOU SHALL NOT MISUSE THE NAME OF THE LORD YOUR GOD.

REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY THE BY KEEPING IT HOLY.

HONOUR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.

YOU SHALL NOT MURDER.

YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.

YOU SHALL NOT STEAL.

YOU SHALL NOT GIVE FALSE TESTIMONY AGAINST YOUR NEIGHBORS.

YOU SHALL NOT COVET YOUR NEIGHBORS HOUSE OR ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO YOUR NEIGHBORS.

LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH MIND YOUR SOUL.

JESUS USED THE BIBLE LIKE A SWORD.

JESUS TOLD A RICH MAN HOW TO BE HIS FOLLOWERS.
